Link G4X Storm, Fury and Xtreme Wire In ECUs use the same "A" connector for the wiring loom. The ECUs are designed to maximise compatibility and provide an option and easy upgrade path. The pinout of the A connector across all ECUs is almost identical. This allows ECUs to be swapped for testing purposes or for an upgrade without changing wiring. The diagram below shows a comparison of the A connector pinout. While it should not cause any problems to plug in and out different ECU types it is up the the installer to confirm that all IO is matched and will be left in a safe state after the ECU swap.
