The manual transmission Holden Commodore VL RB30-ET comes from the factory with a throttle switch. It is recommended that this is upgraded to an analog throttle position sensor (TPS). The analog TPS can be found on the automatic variation of the vehicle. It is important when wiring in the 'automatic' sensor, that the flying lead plug is used and not the throttle switch plug. The existing connection to the throttle switch only includes a power and signal wire. A ground will need to be taken from the air flow meter plug – pin 1 (black).
