From factory, models supported by the G4X EVOLink (I-III) Plug-In ECU are not fitted with a suitable IAT sensor. The G4X EVOLink (I-III) Plug-In ECU supports several options for fitting of an IAT sensor. Any one of the following options can be used:
1.IAT Through AFM – The factory AFM wiring can be used to install a IAT sensor. An Temp 2 is wired to the AFMs temperature sensor. Refer to the MAP sensor wiring information above.
2.IAT Through Expansion Connector - The expansion connector provides ground and temperature channels for the connection of an IAT sensor. Wire the sensor between the Ground pin and an An Temp channel pin. Note spare An Volt channels can be used as temperature inputs when a pullup resistor (to +5V) is added.
