The G4X WRXLink (7-9) Plug-In ECU supports several options for fitting of an IAT sensor. Any one of the following options can be used:

.Factory IAT Sensor – Spec C models have a factory fitted IAT sensor near the centre of the intake manifold. If fitted, this sensor is wired to An Temp 3. Note that if this sensor is not fitted then the wires are not run to the engine bay.

.IAT Through AFM Connector – The AFM has a factory fitted IAT sensor. Due to its location this sensor is not suitable for tuning. A suitable IAT sensor can however be wired to the AFM wiring. The AFMs IAT signal is wired to An Temp 2. Consult factory wiring information for AFM wiring information.

.Wire IAT through ECU Header – An IAT sensor can be wired directly to the ECUs main header. Terminals for the factory connectors can be purchased from your Link dealer. Put a new wire into pin D14 and join onto the signal ground wire from pin B19. Refer to Subaru Impreza WRX V7-9 Pinout.

.IAT Through Expansion Connector - The expansion connector provides ground and temperature channels for the connection of an IAT sensor. Note spare An Volt channels can be used as temperature inputs when a pullup resistor (to +5V) is added.
