The ECU Unlock window is used to enable an ECU when it is new.

 

For security reasons ECUs are shipped in a locked state. The user is able to configure the ECU, but the engine will not start. The unlock code must be generated by the official link dealer who originally supplied the ECU. Link ECU cannot supply this unlock code. Unlock the ECU by entering the supplied unlock code into the 'Unlock Code' box and selecting 'Unlock'. A Store should then be performed.

 

 

Note: The ECU may need to have its power supply cycled before the ECU feature will become enabled.
