The Nissan Skyline GTR (R34) contains a MFD (Multi Function Display). The MFD displays data from the ECU including throttle position.

For the MFD to display throttle position correctly the following steps need to be followed.

.Calibrate the throttle position in the ECU using PCLink. See the TPS Calibration section of this manual for further details. Store to the ECU (F4 key).

.Turn the ignition switch off.

.Press and hold the Return and Mode buttons on the MFD at the same time. Turn on the ignition switch.

.Wait until the GT-R logo is displayed then release the Return and Mode buttons.

.Quickly press the joystick button five times. This needs to be done before the GT-R logo disappears. The MFD throttle calibration is now accessible.

.A screen will be displayed that shows some Japanese characters. Remove your foot from the accelerator pedal. Press the joystick button.

.Fully open the throttle by applying your foot to the accelerator pedal. Press the joystick button.

.A screen will now be displayed that shows throttle position. Verify that the throttle position reads all the way from 0% to 100%.

.Turn the ignition switch off, wait five seconds, and then turn the ignition switch on. Verify that PCLink and the MFD display the same throttle position value.
